Five days, eight milongas. Opening night is on a boat on the Bosphorus, every other milonga is at Crowne Plaza Oryapark. Tea, water and coffee are free at every milonga.
La Madrugada runs five days and eight milongas, from Wednesday 30 September to Sunday 4 October 2026. The marathon opens with a Boat Milonga on the Bosphorus, then moves into the ballrooms of the Crowne Plaza Oryapark, where dancing carries on into the small hours. That is where the festival gets its name: la madrugada, the hours before dawn.
There are two kinds of milonga: Festival Milongas, open to everyone with a single ticket, and Marathon Milongas, for Marathon Pass and Full Pass holders only. A different lineup of DJs shapes each night, and the maestros perform all weekend.
