Article 3 · What Personal Data We Collect

When you register through our official Jotform registration form, we collect your full name, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, nationality and country of residence, your role (leader or follower), partner details if you register as a couple, your selected pass, seminars and Owl Cup categories, and any message or special request you include, such as dietary needs. If you contact us directly, we collect the information you share in your message. During the event, our official photographers and videographers may record photos and videos in which you appear, as described in our Media Policy and Terms and Conditions.

Article 4 · How and Why We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to process your registration, confirm your pass and payment, organize seminars, accommodation and the Owl Cup, and to send you practical information about the event by e-mail. We keep your basic contact details so our team can respond to your questions before, during and after the event. Where legally required, we use your data to comply with tax and accounting obligations. We only send promotional e-mails, such as updates about next year's edition, if you have agreed to receive them; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Article 5 · Photos and Videos at the Event

Our official photographers and videographers record the event, and you may appear in these recordings. By registering and participating, you agree that we may use this material to promote La Madrugada on our website and social media, as described in our Terms and Conditions. Recording by anyone other than our official team is governed separately by our Media Policy.

Article 6 · Who We Share Your Data With

We share your registration data with Jotform, the platform we use to collect and store registration forms. We share payment-related details with our bank for the purpose of processing your transfer. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with any other third party except where required by law, such as a request from a tax authority or law enforcement.

Article 7 · Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website, tangolamadrugada.com, uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, and the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising. These tools use cookies and similar technologies but do not store information that directly identifies you. You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may work less well as a result.

Article 8 · Data Retention

We keep your registration data for as long as needed to organize the event and answer any related questions, and for a reasonable period afterward in case of disputes or follow-up. Data needed for accounting and tax purposes is kept for as long as required by Turkish law. If you have subscribed to receive e-mails from us, we keep your e-mail address until you unsubscribe.

Article 9 · Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct inaccurate information, and to request that we delete your data, except where we are required to keep it by law.
